IMAP has two modules specially dedicated to provide you with information to support your decisions: Explore and Insights. The Insights one provides you with tools to project, predict and simulate different scenarios and variables. You can learn more about the Explore module in the Structure of IMAP: explore guide.
THE 3 LEVELS
The information found in this (Insights) module is divided in three groups, based on the level of detail provided over the goal, having the top level less detail than the bottom level:
  1. Goal (top level), focused on the progress towards the objective.
  2. Summaries (medium level), with information related to tracing, profit, returns, costs, and risks.
  3. Products (bottom level), product information: share, bond, fund, and liquidity.
As it can be seen in the image below, each of the previous three groups is separated by a circle (●). Each group can have at the same time different elements including different information. Each of these elements are separated by a vertical line (|).

  • Predictions, to estimate achievements in terms of time and amount.

  • Dashboards, to represent the information grouped and summarized.

  • Rankings, to visualize comparisons among products.

  • Mapping, to breakdown information by different categories.

  • Scorecards, to conceptualize the achievement of a variable.

You may learn how to use them to discover how they help you to make your own interpretations, as there is never a single truth when becomes to decode what the data is telling us.
